Blaqorchid was founded in 2011 and is a 100% black female owned enterprise. Its principal, Lynette Davis, has been involved in the South African ICT, broadcast, leisure, music /entertainment industry sector for over 20 years and has worked for and with a number of World Class companies including MNO’s, Broadcasters, OEM’S and independent Film and TV professionals. Furthermore, she is a Founding member of the MTN Group. During her tenure with the Group it provided her the opportunity and platform to engage with business and political leaders across the continent over the space of two decades, resulting in 21 licences which are now successful operating businesses, from SA to Iran and everything in between. Lynette’s expertise in reaching and influencing strategic leaders has contributed to her success in the ICT, Broadcasting, Media and Entertainment spheres.
